It took me a YEAR to start my YouTube channel. Not for lack of trying, desire or motivation, but because life in 2020 had other things in store. This episode is particularly special to me because I take you behind the scenes and share the ups and downs of how this channel came to be (if I’m being honest, there were many downs – I almost gave up).
When we see finished products, in art, in film, and in life, we rarely see everything it took to get there. It was so important for me to share this experience with you because this is creativity. It’s not always linear. Expectations are rarely reality. I want you to see the real process: the struggles, the frustration, the truth. I hope to encourage you and help you see that wherever you are in your creative journey, no matter the obstacles, you can see it through to the end. (If we can make it through 2020, what can’t we do?)
